What time do I have to leave?
The latest time of departure is 10am. Please
respect this time - it allows us to prepare the
cottage to the highest standards for the next
guests.
Is
your cottage non-smoking?
Yes
- we
have a strict non-smoking policy inside Well
Cottage.
Can I bring children?
Sorry but we don't accept children under 14 -
for the simple reason that we want to make
Well Cottage a 'grown-up' holiday retreat.
Can
I bring my pet?
No,
we don't accept animals at Well Cottage.
What local facilities are there?
Although not isolated, we are in a very quiet
rural area between the villages of Herodsfoot
and Duloe. Herodsfoot is a peaceful hamlet surrounded by fabulous woodland walks. Duloe is
slightly larger, with a small village shop and a
pub (The Plough) which serves food. Nearest large supermarket - 5 miles. Looe
and Polperro - 6-7 miles - both have a good selection of restaurants.
Is there on-site storage at Well Cottage?
Yes
- but please contact us first - but we have plenty of room
for bikes, boats, trailers etc. Items are stored
at your own risk.
How about road access?
Road
access to Well Cottage is very reasonable - the
last section of the lane is only one car wide
but the visibility is good and there are plenty
of passing spaces.
What activities can I take part in locally?
There are too many to mention - from golf,
fishing, sailing, surfing, horse-riding,
kayaking - we keep lots of information at Well
Cottage, and we're on hand to advise. We can
send you information of specific activities when
you book - there's space on the booking form to
indicate your interests. We can't list all of
them here - there are just too many!
