What time do I have to leave?
The latest time of departure is 10am. Please
respect this time - it allows us to prepare the
cottage to the highest standards for the next
guests.
Do you accept short breaks?
Yes
- call or email us to check availability.
Can I arrive on a day other than Saturday?
Although our standard holiday start day in
the summer is
Saturday, just tell us if you'd like more
flexibility in your arrangements and we'll do
our very best to help.
Is
your cottage non-smoking?
Yes
- we
have a strict non-smoking policy inside Well
Cottage.
Can I bring children?
Sorry but we don't accept children under 12 -
for the simple reason that we want to make
Well Cottage a 'grown-up' holiday retreat.
Can
I bring my pet?
No,
we don't accept animals at Well Cottage.
What local facilities are there?
Although not isolated, we are in a very quiet
rural area between the villages of Herodsfoot
and Duloe. Herodsfoot is a peaceful hamlet surrounded by fabulous woodland walks.
Nearest convenience store and pub (Dobwalls) - 2
miles. Nearest large supermarket - 5 miles. Looe
and Polperro - 6-7 miles - both have a good selection of restaurants.
Is there on-site storage at Well Cottage?
Yes
- but please contact us first. We can store bikes, trailers etc.
(at your own risk).
How about road access?
Road
access to Well Cottage is very good - the
last quarter of a mile of the lane is only one car wide
but the visibility is good and there are plenty
of passing spaces.
What activities can I take part in locally?
From golf,
fishing, sailing, surfing, horse-riding,
kayaking - we keep lots of information at Well
Cottage, and we're on hand to advise. We can
send you information of specific activities when
you book - there's space on the booking form to
indicate your interests. We can't list all of
them here - there are just too many!
Will my mobile phone work in the cottage?
Possibly not. But we provide a phone in the
Cottage which you are welcome to use - calls are
free.
