Places to go, things to see
Here's a list of some of our favourite things to do in
South East Cornwall,
whatever the season.

Pasties and piskies,
festivals and fairs
Cornwall’s not just (or even!) about pasties and
piskies! We have a thriving cultural life which is
rooted in a strong sense of place. Cornwall has long
been (and still is) a mecca for visual artists, ground-breaking theatre and new
takes on traditional music and dance.

Traditional (and not-so-traditional)
festivals are a
feature of Cornish community life. Locally, we have
the Daphne du Maurier Literary festival
and Looe Festival by the Sea; further afield,
traditional celebrations such as ‘Obby ‘Oss
and Mazey Day.
